We spent the afternoon in Pangboche, resting, doing laundry and walking around the small village.   Some folks found a phone and were able to call home.  We played catch with 3 small boys that we met in town.   That night I got up in the middle of the night for my trip to the outhouse - and looking up - the Milky Way was awesome.  I've never seen so many stars.  The next morning dawned clear - we had amazing luck with the weather and we started off for Pheriche.  Here's a shot of the mountains above - with Pumori peaking up on the right. 10/6/2007
